Oreo cinnamon rolls ✨
INGREDIENTS:
* Dough
- 1 cup milk, warm
- 2 packets fast rising yeast
- 2 eggs, room temp
- 4.5 cups flour
- 1/4 granulated sugar
- 10 tbsp SALTED butter, SOFTENED
- 1/3 cup Oreo, crumbled
* Oreo filling
- 1/2 cup SALTED butter
- 1/2 packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp (or whatever) cinnamon
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 cup Oreo, crumbled
* Frosting (I did not measure this 🤭)
- Powdered sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Oreo, crumbled
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Heat the milk (warm) and pour over 2 packs of yeast. Allow to sit 10 min to get foamy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour and sugar together. Add butter in cubes.
- Add flour mixture to milk mixture and begin mixing with dough hook on stand mixer.
- Add 2 eggs and mix well. Dough will be tacky and slapping sides of the bowl.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- In mixing bowl with paddle attachment, beat softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cocoa powder.
- Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick and rectangle shape.
- Spread filling evenly over dough and sprinkle crumbled Oreos on top.
- Tuck in short sides to make it even and roll from long side into log shape.
- Cut into rolls and place in greased 9x13 pan.
- Cover and let sit for 30-40 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake for 20-22 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix ingredients together for icing based on how much icing you want.
- Let cinnamon rolls cool slightly and pour icing over top.
- Top with more crumbled Oreos.
