Sourdough discard Pancakes
This recipe is the first one with gluten that I have posted, I just recently started a sourdough journey and wanted to share an easy way to use leftover discard!
Ingredients:
2 cups of flour
2 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of discard
1 1/2 cups of milk
2 tablespoons of oil
1 egg
Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt!
In a separate bowl mix the discard, milk, oil, and the egg.
Add your wet ingredients to the dry and mix well.
I use a ladle to make sure I distribute the same amount of batter per pancake.
Cook on medium until you see the bubbles, check to make sure the pancake is golden-brown and then flip!
Cook until the bottom is golden-brown And SERVE 🫶
