🔹 Basic Instructions (works for any flavor shown)

1. Measure cereal

Pour the amount of Chex cereal listed for your chosen flavor into a large mixing bowl.

2. Melt coating

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate, peanut butter, butter, or whatever the recipe calls for (usually 30–60 seconds at a time, stirring until smooth).

3. Add flavorings

Stir in extras like vanilla, hot cocoa mix, brownie mix, or lemon juice/zest, depending on the version you’re making.

4. Coat the cereal

Pour the melted mixture over the cereal. Gently fold until the cereal is evenly coated.

5. Shake with sugar

Transfer the coated cereal to a large zip-top bag or container with a lid. Add powdered sugar (and cocoa mix if called for). Seal and shake until every piece is coated.

6. Mix in extras

Stir in candies, pretzels, marshmallows, candy corn, or seasonal add-ins last (so they don’t melt or get crushed).

7. Cool & serve

Spread onto parchment paper to cool. Once set, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
