... Read moreFrom my own experience, I learned that over-washing my face was actually making my skin worse, not better. Washing your face 2-3 times a day is sufficient because excessive washing strips away your skin’s natural oils, leading to dryness and increased breakouts. Another habit that was hard to break but vital was touching my face constantly throughout the day. Our hands carry bacteria from everything we touch, and this transfers onto the skin, clogging pores and causing acne. I also underestimated how important it was to regularly change pillowcases. Dirt, oil, and bacteria accumulate on pillowcases, and when your face presses against them at night, it exacerbates skin problems. Changing pillowcases at least once or twice a week made a noticeable difference in my skin’s clarity. Taking small steps like limiting face washing, avoiding face-touching, and maintaining clean bedding helped calm down my skin significantly. These simple routines made my complexion clearer and more balanced without relying on harsh products. It’s amazing how daily habits impact skin health — if you’ve been struggling with persistent breakouts or irritation, try focusing on these lifestyle tweaks and see how your skin responds over time.
