Before we even say a word to others
What we choose to put on our body everyday sends a message to the world.
Wearing sweats says I’m chilling.
Wearing heels says I feel confident.
Wearing makeup says I feel elevated.
Wearing sweats says, I’m approachable.
Wearing heels says, I’m not the one to play with.
Wearing makeup says, I’m unashamed.
Choose what you leave the house in wisely. #whattowear #confidencetips
I've always found it fascinating how much our clothing speaks for us even before we say anything. I remember once going to a casual meeting wearing sweats, feeling completely relaxed, and noticing how easily I connected with people because my outfit said 'I'm approachable.' On another occasion, I slipped into a pair of heels for a presentation, and felt an instant boost in confidence — not only did my posture improve, but others seemed to take me more seriously, clearly reflecting the bold message heels send. Makeup, too, has been a personal form of expression for me. It’s not just about looking good but about feeling elevated and unashamed of who I am. In line with the inspiring message “SOWING SEEDS with FAITH,” I view my daily choices as small but powerful actions that plant positive impressions and build self-assurance. Choosing what to wear isn’t merely about style; it’s about the attitude and vulnerability we share with the world. Dressing intentionally has helped me align with my inner feelings and project them outwardly, which has improved my interactions at work and socially. Ultimately, what we wear is an extension of our mindset — being mindful about it can truly enhance how we feel and how others perceive us.
