I have found that before diving into relationships, it's crucial to prioritize self-awareness and emotional readiness. Sometimes, the need for love can overshadow self-growth, leading people to seek validation rather than genuine partnership. Therapy or counseling can be very helpful in this regard, allowing individuals to unpack emotional baggage and learn healthier communication and accountability skills. Additionally, society often glamorizes romantic relationships, which can create unrealistic expectations. Young people may fantasize about perfect love, but without the foundation of trust, respect, and personal growth, these hopes remain unfulfilled.
