This fruity green salad is so good!
It’s refreshing and full of flavour.
Took me less than 15 minutes to make. I combined spinach and arugula with fresh peaches and strawberries, added some walnuts for crunch, then finished it with a balsamic vinaigrette. Honestly this is one of the best combinations for salads!

I recently tried making a fruity green salad similar to this, and it quickly became a staple in my weekly meal prep. One of my favorite things about this salad is how versatile it is—you can swap out the fruits depending on what's in season, like using blueberries or mango instead of peaches. The combination of peppery arugula and mild spinach creates a lovely balance of flavors and textures. Adding walnuts not only gives a satisfying crunch but also boosts the salad's nutritional value by providing healthy fats and protein. I often toast the walnuts lightly before adding them; it enhances their flavor and adds an extra depth to the salad. For the dressing, balsamic vinaigrette is great because its slight sweetness complements the fruit while cutting through the greens’ bitterness. If you want to elevate this salad, try adding a sprinkle of feta cheese or goat cheese for creaminess. Some fresh herbs like mint or basil also add a refreshing twist. This salad pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken or fish — making it an ideal light yet filling lunch or dinner option. Overall, this salad is a fantastic way to enjoy fresh, nutritious ingredients with minimal prep time. It’s perfect for those busy days when you want something healthy, flavorful, and quick to make. Would love to hear what fruits and nuts others enjoy in their salads!
