This was a great book. It touches on racism, privilege and the loss of a child. It is about a woman named Ruth, who is a labor and delivery nurse, faced with a difficult decision while watching a white supremacist couples baby. Something else I do like about this book, if im not mistaken, is that the author did a lot of research to make sure the book was pretty accurate in the way a nurse might feel as well as a black woman.
