Some people want honor…
without humility.
They want favor…
without submission.
They want elevation…
without correction.
But scripture says:
“Alahim resists the proud, but gives favour to the humble.”
That should shake every one of us.
Because many people think pride only looks like arrogance, loudness, or self-exaltation.
But pride can also look like this:
Refusing correction.
Despising instruction.
Mocking wisdom.
Rejecting counsel.
Always needing to be right.
Becoming offended when truth exposes you.
The scorner doesn’t just hate correction—
the scorner hates being confronted by truth.
And scripture says Alahim scorns the scorner.
Brothers and Sisters…
that means humility is not optional in this walk.
Humility is not weakness.
Humility is the ability to bow before truth even when your flesh resists it.
Some people are praying for favor…
while resisting the very humility that attracts it.
Some are asking for elevation…
while despising the process that would refine them.
But favor does not rest on pride.
Alahim is near to the lowly.
The teachable.
The repentant.
The ones willing to examine themselves instead of constantly defending themselves.
Because the proud build walls around their ego…
but the humble allow truth to break them so they can be rebuilt correctly.
So ask yourself honestly:
Do you love truth enough to be corrected by it?
Or have you become offended by anything that challenges your flesh?
Because in this hour…
humility may be one of the rarest forms of obedience left.
Shalom.
