Hi guys, I’m Chalyn🥰😌 new to lemon 8 I think I’m gonna like it here seen so much cool things on here tips and tricks so a little bit more peaceful too.
This is my first post and I recently have been running on trails and kind of been hiking just to get out of the house for the summer since I do work most of the time I like to spend my off days outside and nature just to stay grounded a bit And I’ve been doing it for a couple days and I have a couple tips and tricks on how I just maintain my body shape and how you guys can too. I hope you enjoy this little post and hopefully so then I could keep doing more.😌
Wellness Habits
🧘 Habit 1 dieting right
🧘 How It Helps Me: what you eat is how you’re going to feel for a good period of time so I like to eat lighter meat. I am still used to eating vegetarian food because I was vegetarian for so long and it treated my body really well so here and there I go from, salmon or trout to just vegetarian ways.
🧘 Habit 2: stretching and moving around
🧘 How It Helps Me: if I’m going on a long distance, run helps my body not shut down so easily where my muscles tighten up just in general it allows more mobility.
🧘 Habit 3: working out with friends
🧘 How It Helps Me: time goes by quicker. It can be more enjoyable, and you can also have a support system because you’re not in it alone.

... Read moreOne thing I've learned on my wellness journey is that maintaining your body shape isn't about quick fixes, but about building sustainable habits that nourish your body and mind. It's a holistic approach, and I'm thrilled to dive deeper into how I keep myself feeling strong and healthy.
Let's talk more about 'dieting right.' For me, this means focusing on mindful eating rather than strict calorie counting. I aim to fill my plate with whole, unprocessed foods. While I enjoy lighter meats like salmon or trout occasionally, a significant part of my diet is plant-based. Think vibrant salads packed with colorful veggies, protein-rich lentils, and whole grains like quinoa. I love experimenting with vegetarian stir-fries and hearty bean stews. Hydration is another non-negotiable – I make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day, which helps with energy levels and often prevents mistaking thirst for hunger.
My second key habit revolves around *consistent movement, walking, and stretching*. It's not just about hitting the gym; it's about integrating physical activity into my daily life. Beyond my trail runs and hikes, I make sure to take short walking breaks if I'm sitting for long periods. Stretching is crucial for mobility and preventing stiffness; I incorporate dynamic stretches before activity and gentle static stretches afterwards. Finding a personalized fitness routine that resonates with you is key. For some, it might be dancing, for others, cycling, but for me, exploring nature through walking and hiking is my happy place.
Finally, the power of community cannot be overstated. Exercising with friends transforms a solo effort into a shared, enjoyable experience. We motivate each other, share tips, and simply have more fun, which makes consistency so much easier. Beyond these active steps, remember the importance of rest and recovery. Quality sleep is when your body repairs itself and recharges, directly impacting your energy and even your metabolism. Don't underestimate its power! It's about listening to your body, giving it what it needs, and celebrating every small victory on your path to maintaining a healthy and happy body shape.
