Signs your digestion needs support

How many of the signs do you have??

Bloating, constipation, acid reflux, joint pain, fatigue, excessive gas, nausea, undigested food in stool, food intolerances (including lactose), joint pain, anxiety, depression, etc.

So you have these symptoms ?

👉🏼 your gut needs some loving.

Here’s where to START:

🍋‍🟩 Eat a whole food diet (limit ultra processed foods, artifical sugars, colors, preservatives, vegetable oils, refined sugars, HFCS, etc)

🌿 Hydrate with water + a high quality sea salt (to allow our cells to actually absorb the water) just add a pinch in all water consumed.

🍓 DONT drink water around meals, this dilutes your stomach acid. We need STRONG stomach acid to break down food properly. Even acid reflux is due to too little stomach acid (read the book: Why stomach acid is good for you 😉). Limit water intake 30 minutes before, during and 30 minutes after meals.

🥩 Before each meal take 3-5 deep belly breaths. Digestion is a parasympathetic process and we need to be in a rest and digest state. Deep breathing is a quick way to get into that rest and digest state.

🍉 CHEW CHEW CHEW! Chew to apple sauce consistency. It physically breaks down the food but also signals to the other organs in the digestion system food is incoming and to start production of the necessary gastric juices & enzymes.

🥕 Stop eating distracted! Put your phone down, your laptop away, the TV off.

There’s SO much more & everyone is bio individual in what is causing there symptoms, but these are foundational tips everyone can benefit from.
