Send this to an expecting mum! ๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿป
We've been using the exact same setup for jiejie and now the nursery has been passed over to meimei. Love this arrangement as we can just stand at the same spot and change baby without moving a single step ๐Ÿคญ *baby unavailable on day of filming so using phushie as stand-in ๐Ÿ˜‚ #nurserylayou

Why is nobody talking about these baby things??
1. Starfish zip swaddle Don't bother getting traditional muslin wraps!! Those are complicated to wrap and baby tends to break free 100x a day. It is also troublesome to change diaper with the traditional wraps. This modern zip starfish swaddle is SOO MUCH easier to use and idiot-proof. Baby fe

Underrated baby products we actually use daily
New mums take note!! 1. Bugaboo giraffe high chair The newborn seat attachment is really useful for milk feeds! Bb can join in at the dining table and we can see/feed her easily at the same level. The newborn attachment can be removed and be swapped with a high chair attachment later on! 2.

Car or no car?
Back when I was pregnant, many friends asked if we're planning to buy a car to ferry the kids around. We thought long and hard about it, but it did not make sense with the high COE prices ๐Ÿค” In the end, we decided to try doing without a car first and if it gets too difficult, we will reconsid

Top 6 annoying comments received this cny
Gotta say that CNY this year was super shag with 2 under 2, as we had to coordinate the visiting timings with the kids' feeding schedules, nap schedules, as well as my pump/latch schedule while hopping from one place to another. Overall we had a nice time catching up with relatives and intro

Married couple but no joint account?
The reason is simple - we wanted to maximise the amount of interest, cashbacks and rewards for our own accounts & credit cards ๐Ÿ˜‚ We didn't exactly sit down and discuss this prior to marriage (though I would recommend you to do so), it just sort of worked out naturally over time. While

Cooking appliances that save us time
Rather than having an all-in-one kind of smart appliance, we prefer to have multiple appliances for different purposes so that a few dishes can be cooked at the same time! With 3 appliances running simultaneously like this, a full meal can be whipped up in less than an hour! P.s. we also have an

Kitchen hacks to simplify chores
As a DI2K family, we prioritise efficiency and simplifying chores. I love taking shortcuts if that means I can get the job done quickly and free up more time. These are some of my favourite kitchen hacks to streamline the cleaning process and keep our kitchen well-maintained! Which hack would yo

2 kids, no helper, doable?
As a DI2K (dual income, 2 kids) household, we've decided to try and see if we can manage the household chores without a live-in helper and it has actually been very manageable so far! It is all thanks to our smart "helpers" aka appliances to help lighten the load of mundane chores. S

First time engaging a confinement nanny? Read this
As a second-time mum, I learnt the hard way (through a terrible nanny experience with our firstborn) on how important it is to state our expectations and boundaries clearly on the very first day to ensure that everyone is on the same page. For first-time parents who are unsure of what to discuss

This is for all fellow parents ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป
As 2025 comes to a close and I'm seeing many posts on what others have achieved, it suddenly dawned upon me that I haven't actually achieved much this year ๐Ÿค” No promotions, no titles or any other impressive wins that are typically viewed as achievements. But I have been soooo busy! Busy

Would you hire a nanny in the 2nd mth postpartum?
In the first month, babies are easier to care for as they are mostly sleeping. They basically wake up to drink milk and fall back to sleep quickly, especially if jaundice has not been cleared. In the second month, they start to become more awake and cranky, starts to demand for attention and wan

Best decision ever to do confinement in JB!!
The usual price for the lowest tier room at Cheong Dam Postpartum Care Center is RM25000, but there was a promotion when I signed, so I paid RM18888 which translates to about $6000 SGD for 28days of stay. If you ask me if it is worth the price, I would say YES a hundred times ๐Ÿ’ฏ On top of the mea

KKH subsidised to private
1๏ธโƒฃ Why KKH? I chose to go KKH for all my pregnancy checkups simply because it is the nearest hospital from my house. It takes only about 20-30min (depending on bus waiting time) from my doorstep to KKH, so it is very convenient. And of course, with KKH being a well-known women's and children&

Easy wardrobe solution for your kids' clothes
There is a lack of storage space for bb1's clothes as we don't have a built-in wardrobe in the study room. Thankfully, I managed to find this movable wardrobe that is small enough to fit in between the door and her cot! Self-assembly is required, but I would say it is pretty easy and str
