BIG BACK SNICKERS COOKIES
We are back for the fall season 🍂🧶🍪📔
These cookies were SOOOOO good. I legitimately only ate one because it was so decadent and full of some many yummy bits!
If you make them, please share how they turned out!
Ingredients
1/3 cup milk chocolate chips
1/3 semi sweet chocolate chunks
1/3 cup caramel chips
1/4 cup chopped up snickers
1 cup salted butter (2 sticks SOFTENED, just leave it out for some time)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt sea salt, for garnish
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Measure out the milk chocolate chips, semi sweet chunks, pretzels and toffee bits into a bowl. Set aside.
In a bowl with a hand mixer, cream together the butter and sugars until smooth, light in color and fluffy. This will take a few mintues. It is better to whip with a hand mixer because doing it by hand its gonna make your arms hurt.
Scrape the sides of the bowl down and add the egg and vanilla.
Add all your dry ingredients to a separate bowl and mix with a whisk. Then add to the wet ingredients. You can try with the hand mixer but just grab the rubber spatula and mix. It is gonna be an arm workout and it may look dry at first just keep folding.
Add in all the morsels of goodness with the chips and snickers and set the dough in fridge for about 15 minutes
Take a big spoon and scoop an egg size amount of dough. It should be a little bit big, only 5-6 balls of dough should fit a regular cookie sheet. Once all the dough has been set, place a square of snickers on top.
Bake for 15 minutes. Make sure to watch them. Once done take them out to cool and remove from baking sheet. You can add homemade caramel to the top of the cookies once done, or melt down caramel candies with heavy cream or just get a har of caramel and dollop/drizzle on top! Enjoy! You can chill them and they will still be so good. #fallcookies #fallbakingideas #lemon8foodie #cookies #snickers
