Summer workout 🏋🏾‍♀️

August is already off to an EPIC start! 💪🏾Just 5 days in, and I've been hitting the gym like a champ!

Friday was my first day back, easing into it, but then BAM! Saturday I jumped into a Les Mills Bodystep class! 💥 It was an absolute BLAST, even though I felt like I was doing a comedy routine trying to remember which foot went where on the step. 🤣

I usually stick to my beloved WERQ dance class, which is a party for my body AND soul, but doing BOTH back-to-back? 💃🏾 😅 Let's just say my muscles were giving me the side-eye for a couple of days! 😂

Working a double shift on Sunday AND Monday meant the gym had to wait, but I made sure to get my steps in during breaks at work. 🚶🏾‍♀️Gotta keep that momentum going!

Tomorrow, it's back to the gym for another adventure! This time, I'm sticking to ONE class. Gotta give my body a little love after the weekend warrior shenanigans! 💖

Additional Tips: 1) work as hard as you can, you won’t gain if you don’t train 2) eat good food, you have to have good protein and carbs before training 3) drink a LOT of water 4) 1 hour before workout drink electrolytes 5) right after workout drink a protein shake or a nice protein filled
