I’m barely surviving but holding on school need to start back asap 😭
Returning to school after a break can be an emotional rollercoaster for many students. From my own experience, the anticipation of resuming classes often brings both relief and anxiety. One valuable approach I've found helpful during stressful times is to lean on simple, time-tested advice that focuses on relationships and emotional support. The old-school wisdom captured in the phrases like "Y'all gonna hug until y'all learn how to get along" reminds me how important it is to foster understanding and care within family or close social circles, especially siblings. When tensions rise, taking a moment to acknowledge feelings, say sorry, and prioritize relationships can ease the burden of daily pressures. Moreover, managing the overwhelming feelings of "barely surviving" requires setting small, manageable goals rather than focusing solely on the daunting larger picture. Keeping a routine, even before school actually starts, helps steady the mind. Engaging in calming activities such as journaling or light exercise also proved helpful in reducing anxiety. It's essential to remember that these feelings are common, and reaching out to friends, family, or counselors can provide much-needed emotional support. Holding on through this challenge is tough, but with patience, kindness towards oneself and others, and practical coping techniques, the transition back to school becomes more manageable. Ultimately, the goal is to care for ourselves and each other, because, as the old advice perfectly states, "Y'all are brothers, y'all supposed to care of each other."
