Day 29 of 75
Wow, can you believe I'm already on Day 29 of my 75 Soft Challenge? It feels like just yesterday I was mapping out my goals, and now I'm almost halfway through this incredible body transformation journey! For those of you who might be new to this, the 75 Soft Challenge is a modified version of the intense 75 Hard, focusing on sustainable habits for a healthier lifestyle without the extreme rigidity. It's truly been a game-changer for me, and I wanted to share a deeper dive into what I've been doing and what I've learned so far. The core rules of 75 Soft are pretty straightforward, but executing them daily requires real dedication. First up, 'eat well with one cheat meal per week.' For me, 'eating well' means focusing on whole, unprocessed foods, lots of veggies, lean proteins, and cutting down on sugary snacks. It’s not about strict calorie counting, but more about mindful eating. That weekly cheat meal? It’s been a lifesaver for staying on track mentally. It allows me to enjoy something I love without feeling deprived, which is key for long-term adherence. Then there’s the water intake – three liters a day! This was surprisingly tough at first. I found that keeping a large water bottle with me at all times and setting reminders on my phone really helped. The benefits have been amazing: clearer skin, more energy, and feeling fuller throughout the day. My favorite part, and often the most challenging, is the daily exercise. The rule is 45 minutes of exercise a day, with one day a week for active recovery. I've been mixing it up to keep things interesting. Some days it's a brisk walk or run outside, other days it's a home workout focusing on strength training. I make sure to include a good stretch routine after every session – it's crucial for flexibility and preventing soreness, especially when you're pushing your body consistently. I've also been incorporating specific abs exercises to strengthen my core, which has made a noticeable difference in my posture and overall strength. This consistent movement has been incredible for my energy levels and mental clarity. I’m really seeing those body transformation results from all the hard work! Reading 10 pages of any book daily is another rule I've come to love. I’ve picked up some great non-fiction books that are helping me grow personally and professionally. It’s a wonderful way to wind down and give my brain a different kind of workout. And finally, no alcohol. This has been easier than I expected, as I've found so many delicious non-alcoholic alternatives and just enjoy the feeling of waking up fresh every day. Looking back at these 29 days, there have definitely been moments where motivation dipped, or I felt overwhelmed. But the consistency, even on those tough days, is what really builds momentum. My biggest win has been the mental shift – I feel more disciplined, more in tune with my body, and genuinely healthier. For anyone thinking about starting the 75 Soft Challenge, my biggest tip is to plan ahead. Prep your meals, schedule your workouts, and pick a book you're excited to read. And remember, it's about progress, not perfection. There will be days you feel amazing, and days you have to push through. Just keep showing up! I’m excited to see what the next 46 days bring, and I’ll keep sharing my journey with you all.
