How can I lose weight?

I have tried a low card diet, I have limited my portions. I have taken supplements and drinks to speed up metabolism. While I have definitely seen body recoup because my hips are now fuller and my stomach has gotten smaller. I’m still not losing as much weight as desired. I have been completing a diet for 5 months now. Also been doing cardio every day. Any tips?
