Confidence for me is ever evolving. But here I’m going to share some of my own experiences that have helped me feel like the fabulous lady I am. I simply did this be aspiring to look more out together.
1. Take care of your skin and do your hair. That being said your skin doesn’t need to be clear but definitely make sure you washed your face and don’t have eye boogies. And don’t let the girls make you feel like you need a 70$ skin care routine.
2. Wear clothes that fit!
I know it sounds crazy but for so long I was wearing oversized clothes because I’m heavy chested but I ended up feeling sloppy. Doing this also contributed to my lack of confidence. I also hated being perceived by anyone.
This however isn’t enough. I had to find out what flattered my body type.
3. Put some effort into your outfit!
Try styling your fits with whatever your thing might be. I love jewelry and lots of it. But find your medium when it comes to accessories. Wear a hat, or belt if you like.
Last but not least. Say a big fat F you to the fear of being perceived. You’re already here baby. We see you💗 and that’s not a scary thing. You are so everything and you have to know it.
So love yourself at every weight, every size, and every stage of your life.

Taking care of your skin and hair doesn’t mean spending a fortune; something as basic as washing your face daily and keeping your appearance neat can instantly boost your self-esteem. I used to believe that expensive skincare was necessary, but simplicity often works just as well.
Finding clothes that fit properly changed everything for me. Trying to hide my figure in oversized outfits once made me feel invisible and sloppy. When I started choosing pieces that complemented my body shape, I noticed an immediate lift in how I carried myself. It’s important to discover what styles flatter you, not just follow trends. This also helped me feel more at ease with how others perceived me.
Accessorizing is a fun way to enhance your confidence. Whether it’s jewelry, hats, or belts, adding these personal touches can make an outfit feel more 'you' and put some joy into your daily routine. Just remember to keep it balanced so you feel comfortable, not overwhelmed.
Perhaps the most important lesson is learning to embrace yourself fully — at every weight, size, and phase of life. Confidence grows when you stop fearing judgment and start celebrating your unique qualities. Saying a firm "no" to the fear of being perceived allows you to live authentically and shine. Everyone deserves to feel fabulous in their own skin, and it’s totally possible when you start loving yourself unconditionally. Ultimately, confidence isn’t a destination but a daily practice of acceptance and self-expression.
