I was wondering whether to buy this book at first, but I have never read a non-panic end-of-life novel, and I like a series of short stories, and after that,Let me tell you the truth.I bought it because the author wrote it!
When I read it, I felt that it was a story full of quotes because there were too many words that pierced each work. I'm glad I bought it. It was very interesting to read! However, the story of the universe was difficult 💦 lol

この作品を読んで改めて感じたのは、終末が訪れるという一見絶望的なシナリオにあっても、人間はどこかに希望を見いだそうとする強さを持っているということです。 私も普段から終末や未来のことを考えると漠然とした不安に襲われることがありますが、『どうせ世界は終わるけど』ではそれがやさしく、そして静かに描かれていて、読後には救われた気持ちになりました。100年という長い猶予期間が、日常のありがたみや人のつながりの尊さをよりリアルに感じさせてくれます。 連作短編集なので一話一話が独立しつつ、全体で重なり合って未来なき世界における人々の「希望」を編み上げていく様は、小説独特の繊細さを持っています。個人的には、パニック描写や過激な終末論に疲れた方にこそおすすめしたい一冊です。 また著者が『#真相をお話しします』というヒット作の作者であることから、ミステリー的な緻密な構成力も感じられ、宇宙や科学の知識が苦手でも読みやすい工夫がなされていると感じました。実際、私も宇宙の部分は少し難しいと思いつつ、物語の核となる人間ドラマに惹きつけられました。 終末が突然の大災害や混乱ではなく、人類がそれを心のどこかで受け入れざるを得ない長期的展望で描かれることで、私たちが今この瞬間をどう生きるかの問いかけを感じさせる点が新鮮です。読書後は、当たり前の日常や小さな希望の煌めきをもっと大切にしたくなります。 ぜひ時間をとって落ち着いて読んでみてください。終わりが見えていても人は温かく生きられることが、深く響く一冊です。
