being a first time mom definitely has its struggles & knowing the right products definitely came as a struggle, whether i bought too much or too little here’s my list of must haves!🌿🌷
outfits!
my advice is to definitely avoid buttons sleepers without a double zipper, you don’t need a lot of cute outfits because more than likely baby will just need to be cozy in a sleeper! definitely buy some cute outfits for pictures & whatnot but sleepers & bamboo is my go too
items!
- frida baby bathtub instead of a newborn tub (will last way longer all the way up to a year
- philip advent bottles were our go to & still are
- pacifiers, you definitely want to buy a few different brands as you don’t know what your baby will take, our favs were mams
- bassinet, i would highly recommend any bedside bassinet as you will be up with your baby for all hours haha (we definitely struggled
- we did not like the infant carrier at all & upgraded to the evenflo revolve 360 at 2 months! we kept a stroller + bassinet combo in our car those car seats be sooo heavy lol
- a bottle of gripe water & gas drops is amazing to stock up on especially if you have a baby with colic like we did i recommend nighttime gripe water
- you don’t need a hatch sound machine anyone off amazing works amazing don’t let media persuade you too much
- snuggle me! pleaseeee buy one if your baby likes to be held this recreates that for your little one
- baby einstein aquarium is such a great toy for newborns & small babies
- fisher price piano mat is also a wonderful first activity for your babes
- swaddles i highly recommend the love to dream swaddle
- the momcozy carrier is the best one! don’t feel pressured to buy a super expensive baby carrier as you will probably only use it for a few months
- try to buy a diaper bag with an attached changing pad this will save you for car changes
- huggies everything they are so perfect huggies stan for lifeeee
- aquaphor is a life saver skip the diaper rash cream & use aquaphor will clear up overnight i swear
- last but not least a portable sound machine
