wasn’t sure about this on me at all
I recently tried the Maddy Perez-inspired makeup, specifically using the Melted Onyx shades, and I want to share my experience to help others decide if this look might work for them. At first, I wasn’t sure about this makeup on me at all. Having blonde hair, I hesitated because the deep, bold colors in the Melted Onyx palette seemed intense and possibly overwhelming. However, as I applied the shades with careful blending and used the DE PINCEAU brushes for precision, I started to appreciate the striking contrast it gave my overall look. The black and dark tones of the eye shadows brought out my blue eyes, making them pop dramatically, which is exactly the glam vibe that Maddy Perez's style is famous for. I did have to experiment a few times to get the right balance, ensuring the look stayed edgy but wearable for everyday occasions. One tip I found helpful was to use the palette sparingly on my eyelids and blend well into the crease. I also paired it with nude lips to keep the focus on the eyes. The makeup lasted well through the day without smudging, which is essential when working with such rich pigments. Overall, this makeup style is perfect for anyone looking to make a bold statement, especially blondes wanting to try a contrasting look. It’s a bit of a commitment but definitely worth a try if you want to channel that fierce, confident vibe.
