I framed the Stained Glass Cardinals

I got my 5 new paintings matted and framed today. Here’s the Stained Glass Cardinals. My framer made me an extra red mat because my plan was to cut it around the tail feathers. It isn’t perfect but I think it might do. It was a lot harder to cut the mat than I realized. #watercolor #framing

Fancy Peacock Complete!

This one was not easy! The initial idea seemed fabulous but I wasn’t satisfied with it. So I added the curtains. Then I painted the background “black” to make the bird pop. Also, my phone ran out of storage mid Timelapse and I’ve been scrambling to make space since then.🤪 #peacock #watercolor
