🌿 Therapy Talk Tuesday

Some days, it’s not about being strong.

It’s about being seen.

Tomorrow I’ll be having a procedure done that looks pretty simple on paper, but still one that makes me pause. Because as I sit here on my liquid-only day, I realize how easy it is for people to numb down what we go through when they’re used to seeing us strong.

It’s strange how the ones who need us most can become the ones who forget we’re human too. But I’ve learned that waiting for others to respond the way you would only drains your spirit.

So today, I’m protecting my peace.

I’m giving myself the care I so easily give to others.

Because I’m responsible for my own fullness, my own joy, and my own healing.

God’s got me tomorrow — He always does His big one.

And today? I’ve got me. 💛
