How I got rid of my fungal acne • mild products >
Hello, pretty ladies! Tiny bumps/fungal acne on the forehead might have a variety of causes. Although acne isn't the main cause, it is frequently linked to these bumps. They could be related to things like damaged hair follicles, allergic responses, or dead skin cells. These bumps are frequently not harmful but if you don't like how they look, you can try to get rid of them! I have shared this method with so many people with various skin type and I think you will love it too!
DOUBLE CLEANSING
• Use a proper double washing method that removes all oil-based and water-based pollutants to avoid congested pores. For this step, I used Kiehl's Calendula Deep Cleaning Foaming Wash and Kiehl's Calendula Herbal Extract Toner Alcohol Free. Washing your face twice, once with an oil-based cleanser and once with a water-based cleanser, is known as double cleansing.
USE RETINOL/RETINOID
• Retinol/ retinoid is a very powerful skincare product but it's so underrated. But it has proved that it could reduce texture and fine wrinkles, leaving a smoother younger appearance! I like using my Retacnyl Tretinoin Cream, however you shouldn't use it too often because it can trigger purging.
SCALP SOOTHING SHAMPOO:
Its antifungal characteristics help in the removal of Malassezia, the cause of fungal acne. Gently wash, soothe, and prevent recurrence for clearer skin. The Aveeno Scalp Soothing Haircare Shampoo is my favorite since it has a plant protein combination and is sulfate-free. For optimal results, use it 2-3 times each week.

Fungal acne can be a persistent issue stemming from various underlying factors, including the overgrowth of a yeast called Malassezia on the skin. This condition often manifests as small, itchy bumps that can be mistaken for regular acne. To combat fungal acne effectively, it's crucial to adopt a skincare routine that prioritizes gentle cleansing, exfoliation, and non-comedogenic products. One effective method involves double cleansing, which ensures that all impurities, oils, and potential irritants are removed from the skin's surface. Products such as Kiehl's Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Wash are excellent choices as they offer mild yet effective cleansing without stripping the skin's natural moisture. Incorporating retinoids can also significantly improve skin texture and further control breakouts. Products like Retacnyl Tretinoin Cream help to unclog pores and promote skin cell turnover, leading to a clear, youthful complexion. Furthermore, utilizing antifungal shampoos such as Aveeno Scalp Soothing Haircare can help address fungal acne at the scalp level, preventing it from spreading to the face. These shampoos are formulated with plant-based proteins and are sulfate-free, which minimizes irritation while providing effective treatment for fungal flare-ups. For ongoing care, avoid heavy or greasy skincare products that can contribute to fungal growth. Instead, opt for lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizers. Always remember to patch test any new product to gauge skin sensitivity. Make these gentle strategies part of your routine, and your skin will thank you with lasting results!
