My weight gain progress

I was always really skinny in hs and beginning of college. I would try to gain weight and do the protein powders and everything but nothing seemed to work.

I started to go consistently to the gym after Covid and started to eat like a dirty bulk. I do regret doing it that way because I did gain a lot of stubborn fat however, I was able to cut down a lot and now I’m so happy because I’m finally getting to my goals each week.

I love looking back at these pictures because of how juicy my quads look 😩😩 but yeah here’s my little progress 🩷🌸🏋️‍♀️#fitgirl #lemon8challenge #explorepage✨

... Read moreGaining weight can be as challenging as losing it, especially for those who naturally have a lean build. Many individuals, like myself, often struggle with weight gain due to high metabolism or not consuming enough calories. A common strategy is 'dirty bulking,' which involves eating calorie-dense foods, often without paying attention to nutritional value. While this can lead to quick weight gains, it may also cause unwanted fat gain, as I experienced. After realizing the impact of my dirty bulk, I decided to focus on a cleaner approach. This means incorporating more whole foods and nutritious meals while still ensuring I reach a caloric surplus. Gym consistency plays a crucial role in my journey, especially post-Covid. Fitness routines not only help in muscle building but also enhance overall well-being. Balancing strength training with appropriate nutrition can lead to significant progress, helping build muscle and achieve desired results. Monitoring progress through photos can be highly motivating, as they allow individuals to visually track their transformations over time. In addition to focusing on nutrition and workouts, engaging with fitness communities online can provide support and inspiration. Many struggle with similar issues, and sharing experiences on platforms such as Lemon8 offers a sense of camaraderie. Utilizing hashtags like #fitgirl and #lemon8challenge can further expand your reach within these communities. Remember, every journey is unique, and celebrating small victories along the way is essential!
