Hysterectomy at 31!
I am 2.5 weeks into my robotic assisted hysterectomy, bilateral salpingectomy, and diagnostic cystoscopy! I did keep my ovaries. 🙌🏻
I had stage one endometriosis and when I woke up in the recovery room, my surgeon came in to tell me she got it all. 🥹
I will be straight up and say the first like 1-3 days were the worst! Days 4-7 the pain started easing off a lot. I was off the heavy pain medication by day 4. Thank goodness for Tylenol and ibuprofen! 🤣
I still get tired pretty easily! For the first like week and a half I needed to sleep A LOT. My husband had the first like 10 days off to stay and help me or I probably wouldn’t have made it. I still require almost daily naps. 😅
I am on a strict no lifting over 10 pounds rule for six weeks. I also have a 7 month old baby and a 4 year old so not lifting them has been tough and hard on my heart. 😞
I had my two week check up and the dr said the incisions are healing very well and I’m healing nicely! I have to go back at week 6 to see if I’m healed enough to return to normal activities. I’m a gym rat and I miss lifting the things. 🤪
