Things You Will Find In My Low-Tox Home

I'm always striving to be toxin free, be in this world it's almost impossible. It literally is a risk versus benefit analysis, you do the swaps that are most beneficial for your health. Remember it's not a race, it's a journey. It's taken me years to get to this point, and a lot of that is because these swaps can be an investment, but it's always an investment for better health!

... Read moreLiving in a low-tox home isn't just a trend; it's a commitment to better health and well-being. Key elements include using concentrated cleaning products, which reduce plastic waste and are cost-effective. Opt for reusable items like cotton bamboo pads and towels, which not only save money but also minimize environmental impact. For a cleaner indoor environment, breathable air purifiers and plenty of houseplants are essential to combat indoor air pollution. Furthermore, consider switching to toxin-free laundry solutions. Studies have shown that chemicals in conventional detergents can linger on clothes even after washing. By making your own laundry powder using simple ingredients like baking soda and essential oils, you can ensure your clothes are genuinely clean and free from harmful substances. Additionally, oral health can benefit from fluoride-free toothpaste; homemade options can be surprisingly effective and affordable. Finally, stay informed of potential toxins in your drinking water and household products—resources like the Environmental Working Group can provide valuable information. Remember, transitioning to a low-tox lifestyle is a journey, not a race, and every small step counts towards a healthier future.
