Pre-Workout Rituals: My Go-To's Before Hitting the Gym! 🏋🏿♀️ These steps aren't in any particular order, but they're essential for my workout routine! 💪🏿#FitnessPrep
1. I usually workout early in the mornings so that leads me to meditate and set my mind straight for my workout and my day; I have noticed that it helps me mentally while working and and allows the kind body connection to strongly come into play
2. Eating something small like pb&j, protein bar, boiled eggs, etc. something to give you energy throughout your workout
3. I take pictures because it has helped me keep track of my progress, sometimes we can be hard on ourselves and looking back at pictures will let you know that you have made progress
4. Hydrate your body! I can tell you how many times I’ve left with a headache or got a muscle spasm because I did not properly hydrate my body! So hydrate! Get some electrolytes in that body!
5. STRETCH!!! Or do mobility before your workout to let your body know you’re about to lift, don’t take shortcuts and rush into a workout, save yourself from an injury by warming
