How did i do🧍🏾♀️? (dont comment if you only speak one language) Many of yall have been asking about my Spanish classes and Im doing my courses through @Spanishlanglovers on ig too! #espanol #spanishtiktok #spanishclass #spanishlesson #nuevayork
Learning a new language like Spanish is both exciting and challenging, especially when you're starting from scratch. After my first month of Spanish classes with @Spanishlanglovers on Instagram, I’ve found that consistent practice and immersion are key to progress. Recording myself speaking Spanish every day, as part of my homework, really helped me build confidence despite initial nervousness. One of the best ways to improve speaking skills is to use common phrases and talk about yourself, like introducing your name, birthday, family, and hobbies—all topics covered in my classes. Sharing personal details makes the learning process more engaging and memorable. For example, saying, "Me llamo Cataleya," or talking about my love for soccer and favorite team, Real Madrid, helped me connect Spanish to what I love. Aside from formal lessons, experiencing Hispanic cultures firsthand, through visits to Puerto Rico and Mexico, enriched my language learning. The delicious food, warm people, and lively environment motivated me to keep going. I also follow Spanish content creators and participate in communities tagged with #espanol, #spanishclass, and #spanishlesson for daily inspiration. If you’re learning Spanish, try to immerse yourself by watching Spanish videos, listening to music, and practicing with native speakers whenever possible. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes—that’s part of learning. Celebrate small victories like completing a conversation or understanding a new phrase. Lastly, linking your language goals with your interests, such as travel or hobbies like TikTok content creation and soccer, can keep the learning fun and relevant. I’m excited about the World Cup happening here in the USA and look forward to expanding my vocabulary about sports and events. Overall, staying positive and interacting with the Spanish-speaking community has made this journey rewarding and enjoyable.
