If your motivation has been in the toilet lately, raise your hand 🙋♀️ But it's time to get back on track, so let's spend a realistic afternoon + evening together as and 8-4 girlie who apparently needs to relearn how to take care of herself lol. #realisticeveningroutine #backontrack #homeworkouts @Joe Fresh @LSKD
Winter months like February and March can really drain our energy and motivation—I totally get that struggle. What helped me was breaking down my goals into manageable chunks instead of trying to overhaul my entire routine at once. For example, I didn’t have a fancy gym or matching workout clothes, but finding some free space in my home and using YouTube workout videos made all the difference. Even jumping to a metalcore playlist pushed me to keep moving despite feeling out of shape. I also realized how important it is to celebrate small wins. After that workout, I felt noticeably better mentally and physically, which motivated me to plan more sessions for the week. The key is being kind to yourself and focusing on progress, not perfection. Another highlight from my day was cooking a comforting chicken bacon Alfredo with steamed broccoli—a surprisingly delicious meal that felt like a reward for my effort. Repeating simple, nourishing recipes can help sustain motivation. Finally, pairing self-care activities like overnight curls and watching a favorite show creates balance and enjoyment in the day. Realistic routines don’t demand perfection but encourage showing up for yourself consistently. If you’re struggling with motivation, try starting with small, enjoyable activities and build from there—your body and mind will thank you for it!
