Using boxing to clear my mind!
As a creative who works a 9-5 and isn’t making any money off of my work. I truly get frustrated “sometimes”. Most of the time just love creating. I just don’t like my corporate job but I am thankful. So a way to clear my mind is boxing. I have been boxing for almost 9 years. Never fought amateurs. I just use boxing as a way to keep me in shape and remain disciplined. You know clear my mind.
Boxing is not just a sport; it can be a therapeutic escape, especially for those in stressful jobs. Many find that the rhythm of punches and footwork helps to release pent-up emotions and clear the mind. Engaging in physical activity like boxing triggers the release of endorphins, often referred to as 'feel-good hormones,' which can improve mood and reduce anxiety. This combination of physical exertion and mental focus can lead to enhanced productivity in other areas of life, fostering creativity. Moreover, incorporating boxing into your routine is beneficial for overall fitness, offering a full-body workout that builds strength and endurance. Techniques such as bag work and sparring not only enhance physical health but also teach valuable lessons in discipline, resilience, and self-control. For those seeking mental clarity and emotional balance, boxing classes, whether at a gym or at home with online tutorials, can serve as a rewarding and accessible way to stay fit while focusing on mental well-being. Explore local boxing programs or online sessions to reap the rewards of this empowering sport, and find your own mental reset.
