A comprehensive gel x routine involves several important preparation and application steps to ensure long-lasting, natural-looking results. Start by preparing your cuticles thoroughly—clip and oil them, then push back carefully to create a clean base. Lightly roughen the nail surface using a dremel tool with a rough bit to help adhesion, followed by sizing out the fake nails to fit each finger perfectly. Nail dehydrators and primers play a critical role in removing oils and boosting the bond between your natural nails and enhancements. Applying a thin layer of nail glue both on your natural nail and the gel x tip, followed by curing under a UV/LED lamp for the recommended duration, ensures secure attachment. Use a smooth bit on the dremel around the cuticles to blend the fake nail edges well, preventing lifting or unevenness. Buff nails gently to remove shine, then carefully file the edges of the gel x nail tips for a flawless finish. The polish application usually includes a base coat, two layers of color, and a top coat, each cured for optimal durability. Don’t forget to finish with cuticle oil to nourish and protect your nails.
