Jakarta HYROX Doubles Mixed… we nailed it! 🌟 We achieved our target of 1:15 and even got a little bonus by finishing in 1:13! 🙌
If the judge at the sled pull station hadn’t directed us the wrong way, and the wallballs judge hadn’t forgotten to switch the men’s and women’s sensors, we probably would have crossed the finish line in 1:12. 😇
Most importantly, a huge thanks to my body..especially my legs for staying strong and cramp-free throughout the race. You carried me all the way to the finish line, and I’m so grateful. ❤️💪🏁 #elinamyo #jakatrahyrox #indonesia #hyrox #doublemixed
Participating in the Jakarta HYROX Doubles Mixed event was a truly memorable experience, especially because it pushed both our physical and mental limits. One thing I learned firsthand was how crucial race strategy and mental focus are during high-intensity competitions. Despite some hurdles like the sled pull station mishap and technical issues with sensors at the wallballs, staying calm and adaptive helped us keep on track. My legs were tested to their max, yet they held strong without cramping during the race, which was a huge relief. This endurance result from months of targeted training focusing not only on strength but also on flexibility and hydration. Listening to my body played a big role—knowing when to push harder and when to conserve energy was key to maintaining pace. Another important lesson was the value of support, both from teammates and spectators. Having friends nearby to cheer you on or assist if something goes wrong can make a big difference in motivation and morale. The moment we crossed the finish line, feeling the crowd and knowing we achieved our time goal reinforced how rewarding such events are. For anyone considering entering HYROX competitions, I'd advise gearing up for a range of physical challenges – from sled pulls to wallballs – and being ready for unexpected race day issues. Training with a partner, practicing transitions between activities, and mental preparation to stay positive even when things don't go perfectly will help you reach your goals. Finally, be sure to hydrate well and incorporate recovery strategies, as the body truly needs love after these intense races. Sitting down for a few minutes post-race to manage any cramping sensations and using techniques like light stretching or massage can aid quicker recovery. Overall, the Jakarta HYROX Doubles Mixed was a fantastic journey of pushing boundaries and celebrating endurance.
