First Book Review Of 2025 📚

📚 Bull Rush • Maggie Rawdon

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🌶️🌶️🌶️

• cowboy romance 🤤

• sports romance 🏈

• forced proximity 🔥

• husband AND fiancé 🫣

• small town ✨

• good starting point for dark romance 🖤

I am quite literally OBSESSED with this read. For my first book of 2025, I would say this was a winner! The spicy was the perfect amount, partnered with a plot that keeps you wanting more & a HOT, PROTECTIVE, ‘touch her & die’ MMC. Sign me up. The banter between Hazel & Ramsey kept me laughing out loud making my husband thinking I was crazy. Chapters 32 & 43… 🤤🔥🫣

The character development, the love between these two character… I fell in love with them faster than I did my husband 🤪

This is a MUST READ for 2025 🤍

... Read moreIn 'Bull Rush', Maggie Rawdon masterfully blends elements of cowboy romance with the intensity of sports romance. The narrative centers around the enchanting connection between the main characters, Hazel and Ramsey, exploring themes of love, loyalty, and tension. Readers will find themselves enthralled by the rich character development, which showcases how love can blossom even in the most unexpected situations. This book is particularly notable for its use of forced proximity, where the characters are thrust into situations that compel them to confront their feelings for one another. The alluring blend of humor and sizzling chemistry keeps readers engaged, as the dynamic between Hazel and Ramsey is both relatable and entertaining. Key moments, particularly those found in chapters 32 and 43, stand out for their emotional depth and laughter-inducing dialogue, often leading to moments where readers may find themselves chuckling out loud. For fans of heartwarming romances set in small-town settings, 'Bull Rush' offers a perfect escape. The book serves as an excellent starting point for those who enjoy dark romance, providing a sprinkling of intrigue and intensity. As readers embark on this journey, they are encouraged to consider the profound impact of love, as one character poignantly states, 'You'll never lose me. Not in this life or the next.' This sentiment resonates throughout the novel, echoing its central theme that love endures despite challenges.
