... Read moreLooking back on my summer, I can't help but smile at how much joy and excitement it brought me. Starting with high hopes that "this is going to be the best summer," I embraced every day with enthusiasm and a willingness to create lasting memories. Whether it was spending time with friends, exploring new places, or simply enjoying the warmth and freedom that summer offers, every experience felt vibrant and meaningful. However, amid all the laughter and fun, there was an underlying current of melancholy that made the season more complex. It wasn't about sadness per se, but rather a reflective feeling that arose unpredictably during quiet moments. Perhaps it was the bittersweet awareness that summer, like all good things, is temporary. Or maybe it was thinking about past summers and how time seems to move faster than we want. From my experience, this blend of joy and melancholy is very relatable. It adds depth to our memories and reminds us to cherish the present. If you find yourself feeling this way, you're not alone. Embracing both emotions can make your summer memories even more special. In short, summer isn’t just about endless fun—it's about personal growth, appreciation, and even a little introspective melancholy. Don’t hesitate to dive into your summer adventures wholeheartedly, knowing that these feelings are part of what makes the season truly unforgettable.

Losing someone important to you due to their own choices can be one of the most difficult experiences any human could endure. The sheer part of letting go is the hardest. Why would you let go of someone that’s still there? Doesn’t that show YOU’VE given up? Or maybe you agree to the choice as well?

Why do I still post on 🍋8?
It seems like I’m not the only one that feels like engagement on posts here is low. I may get 600 views on a post but only 4 likes. So why would I continue to post on a “dead app”? Honestly it’s simple. It’s fun. No one on #Lemon8 knows me, or has any expectations of me and my posts. On ins

Things I would tell my 18 year old self:
Now that I’m 25 years old, I have had so many experiences now then I did when I was 18 years old. My mind was focused on partying, finally having my “independence”, and becoming a legal adult. Of course, as we grow we learn. So these are the thing I would tell my 18 year old self (and you guys)!

Anyone else still burnt out, even after vacation?
I was feeling overwhelmed at work and took off for a week. I just got back into the office today and I’m just as overwhelmed. All of the things I needed to do before my break still need to be done. I thought a week off would help me feel re-energized, but it didn’t. Anyone else feel this way?
