Find Your Spark Again
Most people think that in order to feel better and find themselves again they need to work harder, be more disciplined, and hustle 24/7.
I was one of those people for a long time until I realized all I was doing was training my nervous system to only see value in results. This turned into being anxious to rest, never feeling good enough, burning myself out pushing for more, & becoming a shell of who I was.
So, instead of telling myself to just “be more disciplined” I started showing myself that peace & motivation come from the process, not the end result.
Try these three things the next time you find yourself spinning in the burnout cycle:
1️⃣Write down three daily goals. Three small things you know you can complete that day. This starts re training your nervous system to trust itself again. The more trust you have, the more confident you are. The more confident you are the more motivated you become.
2️⃣Treating rest and recovery just as important as work. Without rest your mind and body never have the chance to recharge. This leads to decision paralysis, poor results, lack of motivation, lack of confidence, I mean the list goes on.
3️⃣Write down that next version of yourself & show up as her. How does she think? What’s her morning routine? What does productivity look like to her? Wrote it down. Even if you feel light years away from that version of yourself, put it on paper. Visit it everyday. You will get there.
The key to healing burnout and stopping the cycle is knowing the right steps to take. It’s not changing your life overnight. It’s small daily actionable steps.
I share everything that’s helped me in my 12 page Burnout Reset.

Burnout is a silent thief that slowly drains your energy and zest for life, often disguised as a cycle of constant hustle and pressure to achieve. From my personal experience, finding your spark again is less about grinding harder and more about nurturing your mental and physical well-being. One of the key lessons I've learned is the importance of shifting perspective away from results-focused validation. When you condition yourself to only value end outcomes, you risk creating a never-ending loop of stress and dissatisfaction. Instead, embracing the process—showing up each day and appreciating small victories—helps rebuild trust in yourself and your abilities. Writing down three achievable daily goals is a surprisingly effective technique. It provides clear direction and fosters a sense of accomplishment, which naturally boosts confidence and motivation. Consistency with this habit trains your nervous system to feel capable and reduces that overwhelming fatigue that comes from trying to do too much at once. Equally essential is valuing rest and recovery as non-negotiable parts of productivity. Many of us underestimate how critical downtime is for decision-making, creativity, and emotional balance. Scheduling intentional breaks or relaxation periods can prevent mental burnout and help maintain steady progress toward your goals. Lastly, envisioning your future self—the version you aspire to be—and then acting "as if" can be a powerful motivator. It helps clarify your values and productivity habits, making goals feel more tangible and achievable even when they seem distant. Journaling about this ideal self daily reminds you to stay aligned with your growth journey. Healing burnout isn’t about instant fixes but rather small, deliberate actions taken over time. Incorporating these habits into your routine not only aids recovery but transforms how you approach work, rest, and personal growth. The journey to finding your spark again is deeply personal, but with patience and self-compassion, it’s absolutely within reach.
