STORYTIME
Okay so this happened a couple years ago, so it’s a little foggy but I’ll try my best.
So I went to a rodeo on July 4th with my two cousins which are both around the same age as me. (We were all around the age of 13 when this happened.) We were fooling around, walking by ourselves and having a good time. We live in a small town so it wasn’t a super big event, we were safe, or so we thought.
Fast forward, we all run into an old family friend and start talking. As my cousins are distracted talking to him, I looked around and noticed a tall, skinny man eyeing us. I thought it was odd so decided to secretly keep an eye on him. After a few minutes he started to get closer and closer to us. Up until he was right by my cousin. He was obviously not in the right mind, so I told her to come stand by me and get back. Well, she has the survival instincts of a guinea pig so she says “no it’s okay, I think I know him.” As this man is silently REACHING FOR HER ARM. I was lucky enough to grab her in time before he could take her and we then started running away. He was chasing us and, kid you not, hoped on the back of a slow-moving truck to catch up to us. Once we got back to our parents, he was gone.
Our dads were furious and started scouting the area looking for this guy. When they found him, he was behind someone’s horse trailer with a little girl and they called the police. Once they arrested him, they confirmed he had something mentally wrong with him and took him in.
We haven’t seen him since but it still makes me feel uneasy being by myself around sketchy guys.

Omg girl that is so creepy. I had a situation like that but it was an ice cream truck. It looked so sketchy and there were two men in the front just riding up and down our lane. When we confronted them they said they couldn’t find Maryland even though there was a big sign,” WELCOME TO MARYLAND”
