Let’s Talk | @Body Arts Plastic Surgery 💕✨
Choosing where to trust your body is NOT a rushed decision… and for me, it never was. 🤍
This journey didn’t just pop up overnight. I’ve been thinking about this pre-pandemic. I’ve researched, questioned, paused, and really took my time because this is my body… and I needed to feel 100% sure.
There were a few things that mattered to me, no negotiation:
✨ It had to be local. Philly local. I’m not flying or traveling uncomfortable after a major procedure. I needed to heal in my own city, in my own space, with ease.
✨ I wanted to feel seen. Not just by the clients… but by the staff. The administration, the doctors, the people taking care of me. Walking into a space where people look like me, understand me, and can care for me properly? That matters.
✨ I needed real-life results. Seeing someone I personally know, with a similar body type, get the exact procedure I want and LOVE their results? That gave me a different level of confidence.
✨ And most importantly… SAFETY.
This is the one that sits at the top no matter where you go. Hearing that Body Arts LLC will literally turn people away if their health isn’t where it needs to be? That told me everything. That’s not about money… that’s about people making it back home to their families. And that meant everything to me.
I’m truly, truly happy with my decision… and even more grateful that I have YOU all on this journey with me. 🥹 Your comments, your questions, your concerns… y’all really helped guide me through this process more than you know.
And don’t worry… I’m taking you with me every step of the way. This is just the beginning. 💫
When considering plastic surgery, I found it incredibly important to take my time and research thoroughly before deciding on the right clinic and procedure. Trusting your body to someone is a deeply personal choice, and rushing into it can cause unnecessary anxiety or regret. One of the biggest factors for me was prioritizing safety above all else. It brought me peace of mind to know that Body Arts LLC has strict health criteria and will turn away any client whose medical records do not align with their standards. This commitment showed me they care genuinely about patient well-being beyond the business side. Healing close to home in Philadelphia was also essential. Recovering in your own space, with easy access to support systems, makes a huge difference in comfort and stress levels after a major procedure. Being able to walk into a clinic where the staff, doctors, and administration truly represent and understand my community helped me feel seen and respected throughout the process. Additionally, seeing real-life results from someone with a similar body type who had the exact procedure I wanted was a game changer in building my confidence. It made the possibility feel tangible and helped set realistic expectations. If you're on a similar journey, my advice is to list your non-negotiables early — whether it's locality, diversity in care staff, results, or safety measures. Visiting clinics, speaking directly with doctors, and connecting with previous patients can provide invaluable insights. Ultimately, this experience has been about empowerment and self-care. Sharing my story makes this path less daunting and more approachable for others considering plastic surgery. The support and feedback I've received throughout this journey have shown me how important community and open conversations are when it comes to body confidence and health decisions.
