Choc Peanut Protein Bars
These simple protein bars are a great treat that’ll satisfy cravings for some indulgence.
Recipe:
Ingredients
1 cup Smooth Unsalted Peanut butter
1 1/4 cup Low Carb Vanilla Whey Powder
2 tbsp Sugar Free Maple Syrup
1/3 cup Flaxseed Meal
1 tsp Salt
175gm Dark Chocolate
Method:
1. Mix peanut butter, protein powder, maple syrup, flaxseed, and salt until it forms a dough. If the dough is too crumbly, add a tablespoon or two of water.
2. Press into a 8x8-inch (20x20-cm) pan.
3. Place the chocolate in a small bowl. Melt in the microwave, checking and stirring every 20 seconds.
4. Spread the melted chocolate over the bars.
Place bars in the refrigerator until set.
5. Cut into 12 to 16 pieces
