stop doomscrolling as mom. once again no judgement if this doesn’t align with you, that’s fine. this is just my experience i wish to share with you and if it does then i hope we get through this together ✨.
As a mom, I’ve found that endless doomscrolling through negative news and social media can seriously weigh on my mental health. What resonated with me deeply is the reminder that "you're not a bad mom, you're just bad" — a clever way to say that feeling overwhelmed or judged doesn't mean you're failing. I used to spend hours scrolling on my phone, hoping to stay informed but ending up anxious and drained instead. Breaking this habit wasn’t easy at first, but I started by setting small limits for myself—like no phone use during meal times or right before bed. It helps to replace those moments with something calming or rewarding, like reading a book, journaling, or simply taking deep breaths. Realizing that perfection isn’t the goal and that it’s okay not to align with every piece of advice out there made a huge difference. Sharing my experience with other moms through conversations and online communities brought comfort and support. Many of us are navigating similar struggles, so knowing that you’re not alone can be empowering. If you ever feel overwhelmed, remember it’s okay to step back and prioritize your well-being. Together, we can stop the doomscrolling cycle and create space for joy and resilience in motherhood.
