I’ve been doing a major deep dive into some research to achieve healthy glowing skin that looks effortless and I’ve found quite a few interesting routines and techniques to help aid in this journey. Here is one of the routines that I’ve put together for those who have oily, combination skin that’s also sensitive and acne prone. These routines are all going to be rosacea friendly as I struggle with that as well sometimes so if you struggle with that as well, stay tuned. I’ve got more information and tips on the way! This specific routine was curated to help clear your pores, calm any irritation down and achieve a natural healthy glow. Starting the night before, double cleansing is essential. Using an oil-based cleanser or micellar water first dissolves makeup and sunscreen, preventing pore blockage. Following up with a La Roche-Posay gentle cleanser ensures deep cleansing without irritation. Remember, avoid scrubbing and be delicate to maintain the skin's barrier. Steaming for 5-10 minutes opens the pores, enhancing product absorption and facilitating a deeper cleanse. It also aids in relaxing facial muscles and improving circulation, complementing the exfoliation process. Avoid physical scrubs which can exacerbate sensitivity; instead, opt for chemical exfoliants.
