For me, the difficulty wasn't just in sipping slowly but also in avoiding discomfort or nausea that sometimes came with the transition back to normal hydration. One trick I found helpful was choosing high-protein, nutrient-dense drinks like the Fairlife Core Power high protein milkshake—specifically the Elite Chocolate flavor. These shakes offer complete protein and essential nutrients in a manageable volume, which really made those small sips count towards my recovery and nutrition goals.
