Run with a good group, but don't let Pace Group become our rehearsal schedule.
Run with a good group, but don't let Pace Group become our rehearsal schedule.
Running with a group is one of the things that makes many runners love running more.
Have friends waiting
Someone dragged
There's an atmosphere.
There's motivation.
There were days when we didn't want to go out to practice, but finally got out because of an appointment with the group.
All these are the advantages of running with the group.
But problems start to arise when we don't go running with the group to "rehearse."
But began to let the pace of the group unconsciously become our rehearsal schedule.
An easy day becomes tempo.
Recovery day becomes progression
The day should run gently. Back must accelerate because I don't want to fall out of the group.
The day the body was tired, but still forced because of fear of looking younger than others.
Finally, we may not be tired because of planned hard practice.
But tired because of the practice according to the atmosphere
Good rehearsals are not a daily run for others.
But it is to know what we should run for today.
If today is easy, run.
Its job is to make the body accumulate stages, recover, and remain strong for important days.
If today is a recovery run,
The goal was not pretty pace, but to move the body gently so that the next day we came back to practice better.
If today is a workout,
Gradually put quality on the spot, not wearing every day because the group took
Running with a group is not wrong.
But we have to understand its role.
Some days the group is the push.
Some days the group is social.
Some days the group is fun.
But it's not every day that the group should be the one to determine the weight of our rehearsals.
A well-developed runner. Not one who always follows the group pace.
But they know when to follow, when to retreat, and when to let the group go first.
Because each person's body is not the same.
The basics are not equal.
The goals are not the same.
The rehearsal schedule should also not be defined at the same pace.
Run with the group to have fun.
Use the power of the group to benefit.
But must not forget that our rehearsal plan is still ours.
Sometimes the submission runs slower than the group.
Probably what makes us stronger in the long run.
And sometimes not following anyone.
Probably the smartest rehearsal of the day.
