Good runners. No need for every race on the calendar.

Good runners. No need for every race on the calendar.

During this period, the running work began to return, there were almost every week.

Open up Facebook and find a new race.

A friend went to this event. The group went to that event. The brand held this event.

This field, beautiful shirt. That field, good coin.

Another pitch, he said the atmosphere was very fun.

Lastly, many runners' calendars are full of races.

There's almost no space left to really "rehearse."

It's not wrong to compete.

Race is good motivation.

Gives us a goal.

Have an important day to focus on

Have new experience

And make running more fun.

But problems will start to arise when we take down every job.

Until the body doesn't have time to recover.

The practice schedule has no rhythm, creating a base.

Every week becomes a racing taper. Rest.

And then go back to compete again

If the goal is long-term development,

We may have to ask ourselves honestly:

"Is this work really necessary for our goals?"

Or just down because of fear of missing

Good runners don't need to have every race on the calendar.

But good runners should know which race is the main goal.

Which race is the practice field?

And which race should let go through?

Because every race has a cost.

Not just the application fee.

But energy.

Time

Travel

Recovery

And the risk of physical force too often.

Sometimes not racing.

Doesn't mean we're missing fire.

But it may mean that we are focusing enough on rehearsals.

Some should be the base building phase.

Some ranges should be quality-enhancing ranges.

Some should be the recovery phase.

And some sessions gradually choose the right race to test themselves.

Not every work of interest has to be on our calendar.

Not every field a friend goes to. We have to follow.

And not every race misses, our runner's life is damaged.

Choosing not to do some work

Is to open up space for the body to develop.

Let the heart still want to run

And let the race really matter more meaning.

Run to have fun.

Can compete fully

But it must not be forgotten that the goal of runners is not to keep every pitch.

Sometimes being a good runner

Not having a full calendar race.

But to know which races should be on the calendar.

And which races should be spared to get us back stronger?
