Jean enjoyed many passions including karaoke, poetry, dogs, and birds, and served Jehovah with all her heart, highlighting her compassionate and devoted nature. She was married twice; her second husband, Marvin Thomas, whom she met online and shared many years of friendship, is currently supporting her while raising awareness about her condition. Marvin is a musician and was recording songs when Jean bought one of his songs—symbolic of their strong bond.
