Clean Out Dinner #1
This one was a "typical" put together meal.
I had a bag of chicken thighs that I roasted.
I cooked up about a half a bag of frozen Lima beans.
And I decided to make my favorite potatoes- white potatoes or potatoes in white sauce.
When you're in a pinch and need to clear out the fridge, creating a clean out dinner is the ideal solution. This meal not only helps reduce food waste but also inspires creativity in the kitchen. Roasted chicken thighs are a versatile protein choice that pairs beautifully with various sides. Frozen vegetables like Lima beans are not only convenient but also retain their nutritional value, making them a smart addition to your meals. Potatoes in white sauce add a comforting, creamy component to your dish, making it a hearty option for families. For those looking to spice things up, consider adding herbs or spices to your chicken or a drizzle of olive oil to your vegetables to enhance flavors. Moreover, utilizing leftovers is a great practice; try incorporating any extra ingredients you have, such as leftover vegetables or grains, to create a more balanced meal.
