Proverbs 17-18 bible study 🌸
Tonight I studied proverbs 17-18 here’s what I learned:
• better to have little food/things and be at peace.
• many people rejoice over other people’s downfall. The Lord sees. They will be punished/humbled.
• if someone hurts you, talk to them. Don’t go and gossip to someone else about it. You’ll ruin that friendship
• settle any problems you may have before they escalate.
• you may have friends who say they love you and they might but the one who stays for the difficult times, they are family
• if you have knowledge you’ll watch what you say. You’ll also control your temper.
• what you tell someone with words is what will make them or break them. Through your mouth flows river, a fountain of wisdom.
• those who are lazy know what stealing is, they keep it close because that’s what they do.
• those who boast will eventually be humbled
• if you’ve offended someone it’ll be hard for them to want to talk to you again. They will have their walls up.
• there is power in the tongue!!
• choose your friends wisely. Not everyone is your friend. But there will be one who stays close as if they were your family
