Wu Kun's Farmhouse, Tiansheng Sanqiao

... Read moreVisiting Wu Kun's Farmhouse in Tiansheng Sanqiao offers a unique blend of cultural heritage and cinematic history that is truly unforgettable. The farmhouse is situated in a picturesque area of Chongqing, providing not only a glimpse into traditional rural architecture but also a chance to immerse yourself in the scenic beauty that attracted the filming of the Transformer movie. One of the highlights of the visit is capturing the stunning landscape and architectural details using advanced camera equipment. During my trip, I used the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which boasts Leica optics and a versatile lens setup ranging from ultra-wide 14mm to telephoto 501mm. This allowed me to shoot breathtaking photos—from expansive views of the farmhouse framed by lush natural surroundings to detailed close-ups that highlight the textures and colors of the site. The farmhouse's location in Tiansheng Sanqiao, with coordinates around 29°26'27"N 107°47'22"E, offers ideal lighting and angles almost throughout the day, especially around midday when natural light enhances the vividness of the scenery. For photography enthusiasts like me, it's a paradise of opportunities to experiment with depth and shutter speeds—some shots were taken as fast as 1/4444s, capturing sharp images without motion blur. Exploring the site, you can also feel a connection to the popular culture as you walk through the spots featured in the Transformer movie. This adds a layer of excitement making it not just a photographic journey but a memorable cultural experience as well. Whether you're a traveler eager to explore Chongqing's attractions or a fan of film and photography, Wu Kun's Farmhouse is definitely one of the best things to do. I highly recommend allocating ample time here to walk around, absorb the ambiance, and try different perspectives with your camera or smartphone. Each season may also provide a unique backdrop, so returning visitors can find something new every time. Remember to bring comfortable walking shoes, and do not miss the chance to enjoy some local cuisine nearby after your visit.
