for petite proportions, you want outfits that create clean lines and become more flattering! This outfit works well because the fitted zip up and high waisted leggings. It can create a long, streamlined silhouette instead of looking normal. (if that makes sense lol!) The matching dark tones also help the frame! dark tons are always the best when wanting to achieve these looks! and can make petites appear a bit taller, and i’m only 5’2”!

• high-waisted bottoms, any kind of high rise leggings or shorts visually lengthen the legs giving the balance of a shorter torso or overall petite frame.

•fitted or cropped layers. slim zip up jacket or a. slightly cropped athletic top! this is what keeps the proportions from looking overwhelmed! but also keeps your waist visible!

• keep neutral or dark colors. don’t go over the top! (or you can do black on black)
