I divorced at 40

... Read moreNavigating divorce at 40 can feel overwhelming, especially when you've spent years trying to maintain your marriage. From my experience, the first step toward healing is accepting that chasing after someone who's not committed only leads to exhaustion and pain. After my divorce, I focused on self-care and rebuilding my identity outside the relationship. Therapy helped me process my emotions and gain clarity on what I truly wanted in life next. I also leaned on close friends and family who provided much-needed support without judgment. Rebuilding your life post-divorce includes setting new personal goals, rediscovering hobbies, and sometimes even exploring new social circles. I found that embracing this new chapter gave me unexpected freedom and renewed confidence. It’s important to remember that survival means learning to love yourself again and envisioning a future that excites you. If you’re going through a similar experience, know that it’s okay to grieve and take time to heal. Don’t rush the process. Surround yourself with positivity and remember that you’re stronger than you think. Divorce at 40 isn’t the end; often, it’s a new beginning filled with possibilities.

Divorced at 32 💔
I’m now 35 and it’s been 3 years of growing since then. I feel I’ve learnt more about love being out of it than actually being in it. Often times in a marriage, It’s the curse of complacency. Tbh I sometimes laugh when I see certain relationship advice TikToks or YTs or articles because some

It’s Official Now. So Am I.
Since 14 July, life hasn’t slowed down. Right after the court date, I found myself in back-to-back meetings with our housing agent, then dived straight into a whirlwind of clearing, decluttering, and repainting the house to prepare it for sale. At the same time, I’ve been juggling ongoing site proj

The moment I realised I owed him nothing!
Since divorce, I’ve tried very hard to keep my personal life private. But today I need to say this. My ex-husband transferred the ownership of the house to me. I acknowledged it and I was grateful. But gratitude does not mean I must tolerate endless disrespect or feel obligated to house someo
